On this Monday morning, here are some of my random thoughts:
Cody’s younger brother is getting married this Saturday. Of course he is the best man and wearing a “Johnny Cash” tux.
I really have no idea what that means. I think maybe it is called that because the tux as well as the shirt is black. Mr. Blue will be singing in the wedding and I 100% expect some kind of mischief out of him. He also will be wearing the afore mentioned tuxedo. As for me, I will be wearing a gray plaid pant with a black blazer. I am a little weary of wearing that because Emily Post says that I should wear and short afternoon or or cocktail dress with optional head coverings and gloves. That sounds fun, I just could not find an “afternoon dress.” I hate the thoughts of being underdressed. I have always had the opinion that it is better to be overdressed than underdresssed. I know some may not share my philosophy on this. Cody for example is a complete casualist.
It will be nice to meet Cody’s grandparents on his dad’s side. They are driving in from New Mexico along with his grandmother on his mother’s side. I am looking forward to that.
I also made a call today and had all my services bundled. Yes I now have my home phone, DSL, wireless phone, and Direct TV all on the same bill and I got a discount! I am always up for a discount. Speaking of discounts, does anyone out there need Direct TV? If so, let me know and we can both get a $50 credit on our bill and you would get a free portable DVD player. Ok, ok, you are right, it is corny to solicit that here. Give me a break on this one.
My mom is going to participate in a local craft show in April. She makes things out of recycled soda cans. She asked me if I would like to join her. That sounds like that could be fun, however I have to figure out something to make??
Spring is approaching! I love Spring! I am thrilled that Daylight Savings time is coming three weeks early this year. I love the longer days. I love that when it is still daylight when I leave work. It seems like there is a concern about our computers though, it is like a mini Y2K. I guess some folks computers will not know to “spring ahead” an hour early in March, so it will have to be done manually. I heard that Microsoft is releasing an update for this. If any of you work in an industry dependent upon computers, you may be a little nervous like me.
