I have been looking for a new bed.. and ran across this one on craiglist this morning…

What do you think?
So my new CB2 coverlet came in the mail yesterday and with very cool packaging I might add! So when I got home from work - the first thing I did was throw it in the washer - but there was one problem? It says line dry - huh. I live in an apartment with no line to dry. Do most people have a clothesline? How do you line dry a quilt with no line?
Do you think it will ruin if I put it in the dryer?
I went ahead and washed it and put it on air fluff in the dryer for 30 minutes. It was still really wet - so I put it on low heat in the dryer for another 20 minutes - then I got it out and draped part of it over the back of my sofa to create a “tent.” How do you do these things? Do you think I can just dry it?
to my car to scream…
I have been crushing on a white sofa for a while now…
If anyone knows me, they know that I like to wear heels. I just feel more comfortable and feel less dumpy. Up to now, I have resisted any kind of flats - but I am now reconsidering.
There are some of the cutest ballet flats out there. Like these, these, and these. There is one problem when I try them on - something that I have avoided all along- Toe Cleavage. I always have thought this to be one of the less desirable parts of myself. Do people really want to see this when they look at my feet? Maybe it goes back to the days of my childhood in the 80’s playing in the yard in my jelly shoes which created sweaty dirt between my toes.
(not my foot)
There is no longer any dirt between my toes and everyone is pulling off all kind of flats without looking hideous with their toe cleavage. I am just having a really hard time making that first step showing of my toe cleavage to the world. Is toe cleavage appropriate? I hear that Manolo Blahnik approves of it as only as it is only the first 2 toes visible. Isn’t he the shoe authority? Am I worrying about nothing? How does everyone else pull it off?
Please pardon the technical difficulties with the blog. I have upgraded to WordPress 2.3 but apparently my theme is not compatible and there is gibberish where the tags would normally go. If you come and notice that or a not so pretty theme, please disregard and continue to enjoy yourself. Thanks.
*UPDATE* My technical genius fixed everything on with my theme.
Dear Internet,
Are we just increasingly busy people? Or am I just too busy all the time? Oh I dream of blogging - in my dream world I maintain several blogs, each one with its on theme instead of the hodge podge that appears here. Its funny how I have so much time to read all of your blogs? I have lists of things that I want to blog about, but somehow it never makes it out.
Last Wednesday evening as I was leaving work, I dropped my laptop bag in the parking lot. As soon as it happened, I cringed. I was afraid to even look at it. A couple of hours later, I pulled it out if my bag and turned it on. And there it was a huge white spot on my screen. It am so devastated. I cracked my screen.
I was planning to buy a new laptop early next year anyway, but I wanted to do it in my own timing.
So I have been thinking what laptop I should get. I want a cool one. I am thinking about a Mac Book with the new OS X Leopard.

I watched an cool video here. I am quite impressed and think that I would love it. I am a little nervous about making the switch to Mac. I have never really used a Mac and I am scared that after the newness wears off that I will be lost wishing I had a PC. Cody and I went to the Apple store in Atlanta a few months ago when he was considering a Mac. We made the 2 hour drive just to let them sell us on it. Cody had really already made up his mind that he was getting a MacBook Pro. However when we got to the store, all the sales people seemed pretentious. It was very disappointing. There was a guy that talked to us for a few minutes, but we felt like his attitude was “Mac is better because it is Mac.” We wanted someone to show us why it was better. I hear so many people love their Macs and are truly loyal. I want to hear what is better. Will I be disappointed once all he eye candy becomes normal? Leave me comments and let me know your experience.
